Studio Hire
Our air conditioned upstairs studio is available for hire by hobby, amateur and professional photographers, as well as by models who wish to upgrade their portfolios.
Facility: Overall Size 7mtrs x 9 mtrs, Shooting area is 7mtrs x 6.5mtrs, Changing area and Desk/Viewing are at one end separated by black curtains which can be pulled completely around the walls of the shooting area. Natural light, old fashioned window with panes can be exposed by pulling back the curtains. Ceiling is 3.2mtrs in the centre falling down to 2.5mtrs at the sides. A strong metal beam suitable for various poses and props runs along the centre at around 3.0 metres high (see images below).
6 x 3mtr wide backgrounds on roller system(Black,White,Blue,Fawn etc) plus various other options, 6 Strobes ranging in power from 200 watt to 500watt, Wireless triggers for up to 4 cameras and all strobes, 6 Soft Boxes, various umbrellas, 500mm Beauty Dish with Grid, 2 Snoots, Boom, smoke machine, and other lighting related paraphernalia.
Studio times must be pre-booked by way of 50% deposit at the time of booking. The balance of the booking fee is payable in full before the commencement of the shoot.
Weekdays: 9:30am to 10.00pm by appointment.
Weekends: 7.30am to 10.00pm by appointment
Rates:
$50.00 per hour (minimum charge 2 hours)
$175.00 half day (4 hours)
$250.00 Full Day (8 hours)
Presentation: The studio will be clean and tidy with all equipment in working order. The hirer will return the studio to management in that same condition. Whilst the management will be responsible for any repair to faulty equipment, any damage caused to equipment and/or other studio accessories by careless or willful action will be the responsibility of the hirer.
Studio staff will be on hand for all shoots and will gladly assist the photographer to understand the use of the equipment.
Smoking is not allowed anywhere inside the building. The use of pyrotecnic effects or any other use of naked flames is not permitted.
